Pulmonary
Function Testing
The
Springfield Medical Associates pulmonary laboratory is staffed
with a Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist with over
25 years of clinical experience. State-of-the-art pulmonary
function testing is available, along with oximetry studies
and arterial blood gas analysis in a laboratory that meets
all state and national regulations. All testing is done under
the direction of our Springfield Medical Associates pulmonologists.
Extra
attention is given to patient education about the disease
process, proper use of medications and smoking cessation in
a compassionate and caring manner.
Appointment
times fall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
